FCE - Virtual World

Write an article to a magazine with the title
"What the Virtual World holds for the Future"
in at least 180 words.

    The virtual world have already make changes in the society,the newspepar, for example, is available for reading in cel phones, where you also can access your e-mail. So, it is a fact that the virtual word is gain an incredible power on communication among peoples, societies and worlds.
    In a globalization reality, the virtual world must be more real than the real one. But these are facts, people pass more time in a computer, or in a mobile, or in a video game, than reading a book or practicing sports, for example. In other hand, you can find a minority group that fight to preserve somethings from the "old wolrd".
    That is why so difficult to say what the virtual world hods for the future. It can hold individualy and rude people, or the opposite, people that don't live all the time a virtual life and like to be with other.

    in our grandpa's time, nobody will imagine this thing what we call internet. this net of people arround the world it is the biggest way to communicate whit people in the planet. And this way to chat with frinds or family in another city or cauntry or the see the news about rio de janeiro, japan or any place, are incrising everyday and we have a lot of options to use this facility, like social communities. This social communities can be the best way to chat and be informed about the life of our friends and family. But this virtual world can be unpredictable, because we dont know how fast this tecnology can improve, a lot of anothers facilitys can appear and make our lifes more easy, but we can see the worst side of this changes in this virtual world, more and more of the population in the world are going to be out of the world in relation of the people relationship, they maybe will substitute the talk during the day to talk trough the internet or cellphones, maybe books will not exist anymore, and the use of books in computers will cause a lot of heathy problems to peoples. But if we know how to use this world to improve our style of life, we can make this enormous world in a small world and fully of opportunitis in bussines world or in people relationship

    Since a while, technology has been affecting all human beings' ways of living by showing us easier manners to do all kinds of stuff. Since personal computer was invented, people have found out that thecnology can improve and make things faster. After the development of technology and the invention of the internet, people have noticed that going out is not so nacessary as it used to be before, since we can do anything we want by using the internet, like paying bank accounts,doing shopping, buying food, talking to friends in your country or overseas, etc. Not everything is that good, though. Technology, now a days, is guilty for putting some distance between people's relations, since they don't have to get together to talk and solve problems any longer. Also, parents have been complaining because their children would rather staying home surfing in the internet and playing video games then going out with family to have dinner, or going to arcades. As we can see, in the future things are going to be much worse to people relations but it's also going to be much better for the knowledge of the world.

    As the time goes by, although we are been surprised every moment with a huge development on virtual world, there is something that everyone is still waiting from the news tecnological devices: a way to feel the smelling throw machine.
    In my childhood, I remember my grandmother watching a TV program called "A cozinha maravilhosa de Ofélia" (Ofélia wonderful cooking) and wondering when would we smell the dishes from the TV.
    Nowadays, we use to hear radio jornalist trying to explain to the listenners the smelling of something they are discussing about.
    However, nobody disagrees that the internet and the video phone conferences are incredible tools. By the way, I have never understood how the fac-simile works. It seems like a magic: a paper going throw the telephone cable to any corner of the world!
    Gathering many devices in just one equipament is another goal for the users. Years ago, the cell phone were used only to make and receiving calls. Surf in the web was able just by the computer. Now, we have all these possibilities (and many others, like taking photos and playing games) in the same equipament, much smaller than anyone could image.
    Before the virtual world get the step of being able to throw smell from devides, we also must think about what should be done with not great smelling.

    At these days almost everyone knows whow to use a computer and the internet.

    Even my grandmother sent me a email a week ago inviting me to be her friend at facebook.

    People have virtual friends that they never see. In my last birthday , 5 friends phoned me to give "happy birthday". At the same time I received 50 emails and about 150 orkut's messages telling the same thing.

    People are using the virtual world to comunicate with themselves. We can also express our feelings using a emoticom. My girlfriend was bored with me a week ago and send me a sad face like =( . I didn't understand at the beggining and she had to explain to me all about this new language.

    Peope can pay builts, do medical exames, and even make cirurgies by using the internet and the virtual reality.

    There are researches in USA that disponibilizate a robot that mimetizes the hands of a medical doctor. With a camera the images are recorded and sent to the other side of the planet. A profissional can see the images and do the moviments with his hands, that are copied by the robot. We have a robot that doesn't go to bathroom, doesn't fell hungry and can make the surgeries more safe than usual.

    We are now in the century of the computers, internet and virtual reality. It's the virtual world. What do you think about it? Send your opinion by email or twitter. At these days we don't accept letters anymore. =)

    The virtual world can contol a lot of things around the globe. It can control traffic, school time, work time and the weather. So, the future has come. We have computer for every thing. By the way, the games are changing lifes more than we can imagine. So, we can see that virtual wold is in our lifes defenetly.

    In addition, computers, cell phones and another machines can hold a plenty of things in our home and at work. For example, they can control the security in home and at work with cameras. At work we can control the entries of people. So, the virtual world is in ours lifes more than we can imagine.

    Cell phones conected by socials networks is a good example that how the the present and the future is hold for the virtual world.

    The future of the virtual World sometimes is predictable or unknown.I remember in a time when I was a child my father plays a game called Outrun a racing arcade in a videogame called Master System.At that time videogames were very popular with your joystick with cable.Now new videogames have joysticks without cable like XBOX 360º,Nitendo Wii and Playstation 3.Both companies like Sony,Nintendo and Microsoft put this idea to make more money at this time of economical crisis.I want to say that new things and stuffs will come in our virtual world like more speed and memory space for our PC or Computers.This is good because people can access the Internet very quickly and download files you want very fast.Well as I'm saying the future of virtual world will be good if we enjoy at the next few years.Things are changing because of the Internet.There are many sites to visit that the most visited is Google,Wikipedia,Terra,Yahoo,Hotmail,Facebook,Gmail,Youtube and MSN.Without the Internet we can't express and comunicate well.As I conclude the future of the virtual world will be revolutionary to our daily days.

    The virtual world has changed a lot our lifes.I believe that the world could not hold on without many losts if all the electricity felt down for a week.We are a very conected to the new technology.We depend on the internet or on the cellphones to comunicate from a long distance with agility, or on TV and videogames to have entertainment.The earth would be reduced to a colonial period without the technology nowadays.But also we would not have all this global warming that keeps rounding and rouding are lifes.Economy depends a lot on technology, otherwise how could we buy actions while living in Brazil of an japonese company.The social life is also present in the virtual world, showed by relationships sites(facebook, twiter,orkut, msn, etc),this ocasion that has been recently shown on the cinema(other thing that depends on de virtual network) ''The social network'' that narrates the history of the creation of facebook.For those and many more reasons the technology is very important for us.

    The virtual world is a fact that can't be ignored anymore. The technology is becoming sharper and sharper. Look around! I bet it's going to be hard to find someone without a cellphone or a computer. It has improved most of all areas in our lives. But, I'm going to talk about a particular item that has been threatened by this new reality: books. I went to a book store this weekend and there,I saw a big crowd. I thought they would be there because of a great author or maybe the launch of a terrific book, but I was wrong. They were there to by E-BOOKS! It's a small device you use to download books and then read them. No flipping pages, not even that scenting paper smell, I couldn't bare that idea! We can't fight the reality of this new virtual era. It makes our lives easier, improves our health, allows us to know all the world without even leave the house. But the feeling of curling yourself up in a smooth chair and feel a book between your hands, can't be replaced by modernity!

    What the Virtual World holds for the Future?

    The virtual world is already a reality, we can prove this by looking around, nowadays everyone does have a mobile phone that you can use to buy or sell everything. Some good exemples
    of that is the tablet and eletronic book reader or just eBook reader. With the eBook reader you can buy a book or newspaper wherever you are using just a wifi connection, and start to read at the same time.

    People are using more and more the internet in theirs lives, that could affect the future when people migth have their lives depending on it.
    But is it wrong to think thats it'll be a problem, the virtual world has the propose to solve our problems, we need to have good expectations on what virtual world holds for the future.

    The virtual world has already done a lot great things for our lifes, and in the future will continue to do, because the virtual world is somthing that doesn't stop, it's always changing. We can never know what does the virtual world holds for us, a fewer years ago no one could ever imagine that we would talk to someone that is in the other side of the world and find that normal.
    One of the most interest thing about the virtual world is that it always have something new, so as you never get tired and keep downloading those kind of things. But sometimes virtual world it isn't that good, because some people use it to do ilegal things, so depending on the improvement of it, somethings won't be good or easy to deal with it, if now a days the virtual world helps that imagine some years ahead now. So we can't never know what the virtual world holds for the future, we can only hope it's only great things.
