    Brazil is the country of diversity. We have beautiful cities, beaches, people and excellent weather. Did you know, we don't have problems with weather...I talk about natural desasters like earthquakes, for example. The people are so amazing, lovely and they like to receive people of other countries. Cities like Rio de Janeiro, Salvador and São Paulo have a good estructure: hotels, parks, beaches, warm temperature, restaurants (excellent food) and night clubs, to receive tourists who wants have fun. But, we have many problems here in this beatiful country. The poverty still affects our people. We don't have adequate social politics to meet all the people who needs good hospitals, schools, food and security. The problem begins in the government, because we don't have good representation. The Brasilia's governor for example, was arrested three weeks ago by corruption. The situation is serious here, and people have to think a lot before choose your representation. So, we have to change our history immediately to prepare a good country for the next generations. (Gisela Cabral)

    Hi, everyone! We're privileged to live in a country like Brazil. Our country has many areas of great natural beauty. We have a huge coast, so we can find gorgeous beaches here. We have a rich culture and amazing historical cities. We have the Amazon forest that is an important water supply. Brazil has got a supply of oil too and can be considered self-sufficient of amount in these natural resources. The Brazil's weather is very nice, there are a lot of sunny days and seasons are well-defined. We don't suffer from some natural disasters that are ordinary to other countries like earthquakes. Brazilian people are hospitality and friendly. We're used to have many holidays in a year, so we can enjoy having fun! The Brazilian soccer team is the best team of world and we've won the World Cup loads of times. Because of all of this, somebody says that God is Brazilian!
    On the other hand, Brazil has many problems too. Many people in Brazil are poor, there is a great social inequality. Corruption affects us, for example the federal district's governor was arrested recently. There are others issues like low quality of public education and health. In big cities, we can see many slums and the violence has been found for a long time ago. Brazil is known as a dangerous place to visit by foreign tourists. Foreign people think Brazilian are lazy who are in carnival whole year and we live in a jungle. What big mistake, isn't it?
    Anyway, Brazilian are strong people who never give up. I'm proud of being Brazilian. (Alexandre Maia)

    Hello,
    I think Brazil advantages: It is a very beautiful country, there are stunning places for example: beachs, waterfalls, forests, rock formations.... The weather is very good. There aren´t in the country natural desasters. The Brazilian people are very friendly. The public salute in the country not very good but there is. The disvantages I think is the politic in general, especially politic education. There is unequal social class. (Raissa Monteiro)

    Being Brazilian is a pleasure because we were born in the most beautiful country in the world that has the greatest biodiversity of the planet. Here you can find several stunning landscapes – beaches, rock formations, waterfalls, forests, etc; you can pass all your life visiting different places without repeat the view.
    We have both hot and cold temperatures, but in the major part of Brazil the temperature is agreeable.
    We are known to our hospitality and our happiness. We really like that foreign people feel comfortable and enjoy our country.
    We are very religious and in Brazil we have religious and politic liberty. This is not just important to the individual freedom but even to the developed of the country.
    But, there are some disadvantages to be Brazilian. Major part of our population is poor and lives in slums. They don’t have a job, don’t have money to buy food and don’t have access to a good education or to a medical assistance. They survive each day how they can. Most of them are involved in drugs and steals, what makes our country unsafe and violent.
    This gets some more complicated because our politicians are corrupt and seem to take care just of themselves.
    Despite of this, is interesting realized that even when Brazilian people are in trouble their look like a happy people. That became of our faith in God and our optimism. And I really hope that some day everything can get better. (Andressa B. Santin)

    Being Brazilian there is the advantage of living in the place that doesn't have big nature disaster, like earthquakes, that rappened in Chile and Haiti.
    Brazil has many problems, like corrupt politicians, public school and hospital with bad services and many others, but the Brazilian people are still happy

    In the last days I’ve been thinking about what I’ll write in the Blog, because my “writer inspiration” has gone…But, I’ll try to say something.

    Here we go!

    Being a Brazillian is fantastic! I live in a great country, surrounded by nature, good food, friendly people and a good life.
    Some problems remains from a long time ago, since de colonization, but this is another history. In fact, Brazil has problems that the most of south American countries have, but the policy of the actual government has minimized them. The main aspect of being a Brazillian is the quality of life. I hope the next government follow the actual social policies and became the life of poor Brazillians more confortable and more safety.
    That’s it.

    The Brazilian people is friendly, solidary and like differerents people and things too.We're recognized for others people arround the world. Our country is wonderfull, have a fantastic nature,a greit folklore,popular partys. Brazil has a few problems of social order and the publics politics don't serve all population yet.In general, I think our country a good place to life.

    Let me say what I think about my country. We live in country that does not have natural disaster like earthquake. However sometimes we have floods. Our country is multicultural and we have several kinds of foods even most of us earn 280 dollars per month (basic salary). We are creative. For example, it was a Brazilian who invented the airplane. Unfortunately we always believe in politics promises and liars governors. By the way we are pacific’s people and we lives in peace with our neighborhoods. We are biggest and the most important country of South America so we play an important role then. We are warm people but sometimes we feel ourselves with low self-esteem. Despite some problems like poor education and lack of health assistance Brazil is growing economically. I think we will have a great future. Then enjoy ourselves!

    I’m think the best advantage to live in Brazil is to live in a country that have many countries inside. We have differents places, cultures and people in the same country. Another advantage is the weather. In Rio Grande do Sul where I was born we have low temperatures but if you compare to another countries is not so much. For me the problem in Brazil is the violence. In many cities like Rio de Janeiro, Recife and São Paulo you always need attention because any time somebody can steal you. Well, Brazil have some problems, isn’t a perfect country, but it is my home, the place where my family lives and where I’m happy.

    Hi Teacher,
    I think living in Brazil is very good, because it's a beautiful country, with mountains, beaches and waterfalls.
    I live in Brasília, the capital of Brazil, that has a modern architecture, but I also know many places in Brazil, like Fortaleza, Natal and Florianópolis.
    In Brazil the violence are increasing so much and living here are becoming very dangerous. This is a real disadvantage, mainly in the big cities, like Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Recife.
    However, there are a lot of advantages of being a brazilian. Actually, the people are very nice and funny. I like the brazilian food too.

    Hello teacher!
    I think Brazil has more advantages than disavantages. First, the people are happy and friendly. And than, our country has a many natural areas like beaches, Amazon forest, waterfalls of Foz do Iguaçu. But I think there are problems like violence and social differences (probabily the violence is caused by the social deifferences). The politicians have to resolve this, but not alone. There is all of us responsability.

    Being brasilian is the best thing in the world!!!ok,Have some cons like the politic,the violence,the social diferences,etc...

    First, I would like to talk about advantages of being brazilian. There are many advantages to being brazilian. In Brazil there aren´t natural disasters such as hurrcanes and earthquakes. There are many beautiful natural places. There aren´t religious conflicts or civil war. However, in my opinion, the greatest advantage is our people and their way always cheerful and happy to live.
    Now, if we think about the disadvantages of being Brazilian, we have a huge social inequality. We don´t have a country with opportunities of all. And the biggest of all the problems, the corruption. It prevents the country to grow and have better quality of life to people.

    I think one of advantages of being Brazilian is the climate. But, I don’t know if it will continue to be an advantage, because the weather is changing, and nowadays here it is very hot. I like the climate of Brazil, specially climate of Brasília. But, I like also the climate of Europe and United States, where seasons are more defined. In spring there are beautiful flowers, in summer it’s hot and we can go to the beach, in autumn the leaves came yellow and fall and in winter it’s cold and snow.

    Another advantage of being Brazilian is that we have a lot of natural beautiful places, like Cataratas do Iguaçu, Rio de Janeiro, Bonito, etc.

    Another advantage is that we don’t have natural disasters like earthquake, tsunami and hurricanes.

    One of the disadvantage of being Brazilian is that we have a lot of very poor people. They have a lot of children and they don’t have condition to create them. Often, these kids go to street to beg money. Some of them live in the street, and became social outcast.

    Another disadvantage is the violence, it increase every day, and nobody do anything to reduce it. I think there are a lot of cruel people. They kill because they are very bad and they know they won’t go in jail.

    Another disadvantage is Brazilians like to speak ill of other people and other countries. I don’t like it and I think it isn’t polite.

    I've always thought that Brazil is the best place to live because I was born here.
    Now, I am sure that it's true. I was in Santiago, Chile, when happened the earthquake in the last 27 of february. I woke up with the building sooking and the things falling on the floor. It's terrible and frighyening. I had very fear. After quake, I only wanted : COME BACK TO BRAZIL. Here, I know that we have many problens but I will be in firm land. (Dalva)

    Who many Brazilians do you know that went to another country to work or just to study and then, came back telling that the Brazil is the best place in the world? This is our country. A big and heterogeneous country, with so problems, that sometimes we asked why it is so good.
    We could talk about the nature, the riches, but what really makes Brazil an especial country, in my opinion, is the Brazilians. A people who never gives up. We´re always trying to improve, to become a better country, with better salaries, better health and educational system and with more safety and less corruption. And even with so much problems we´re a happy and warm people.
    However, I think that the most disadvantages of our country can be cured with a drastic investment in the education. I Know it´s a long and difficult way, but our country will became better and better. (Lara)

    BRAZIL

    For me Brazil is the most spectacular place in the world. The south of Brazil have the Pampas and the gauchos tradition, in the north we have the biggest rainforest - the Amazon, with lots of unknown species of birds, fishes and little monkeys. In Middle West is located the capital – Brasilia, what recognized as a very important monument of modern architecture buildings. At last but not the least, the famous and beauty city of Rio de Janeiro, where I was born. For another hand, Brazil have some problems like our politicians, “dengue” fever, favelas and violence, but these problems will be soluted soon (I hope).

    The advantages to has be brazilian are because Brazil has the bigger culture in the world and brazilian people are so receptive, employed , loving and worker. Everyone here like this country, the amazon rain florest , the sceneries. The Brazil has a number of celebrities to be proud: musicians, writers, artists, players and etc. Ofcourse sometimes have some problems and this is the disadvantages I thing, like the violence in the big cities, for example Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Recife, the big social different where the rich people are so rich and the poor people live in the streets, under the bridge and they're not sure whether they will have food the next day.

    Brazil is a beautiful country and be brasilian is so good!!!We would have pride of us country!
    In Brazil there is beautiful beaches, forests, mountains,waterfalls and other turistics places,where we can see the culture of brasilians.Brazil is a big country and you can see a big diversity,that is so lovely.Here,we don't have problems with natural desasters, like earthquakes.But...we have some problems with the violence,that is very big beginner in Rio de Janeiro(a beautiful city),and with the corruption.

    Be a Brazilian is a very good think, because of the people are happy, friendly, receptive, and the foreign feel very pleased with our reception. The drawback to being so, some foreign think about our reception, they are can do every think like a prostitution, sexual tourism, pedophilia and others things.

    Another good point to be a Brazilian, are the our party, the Carnival, the reveillon.

    Bed points to be a Brazilian, are the corruption that our politicians commit.

    There are many vantages and advantages to live in Brazil. The ratio between the pro and con depends the place where you live and the financial situation you have. However, there are good and bad things in all country or social groups around the world.

    On general, there are no wars in Brazil but if you live near the “favelas” in Rio you can see some battle like wars. Many politician are corrupts but other ones are honest and they have been made good things to improve our country. Our medical system isn’t so good mainly for poor people who don’t have a medical according. If you have money to pay a private hospital you will have a good assistance but if you don’t have… Then, there are beautiful places in Brazil for example the beaches in the Northeast region. Travelling in Brazil sometimes isn’t so cheap but if you can plan the trip previously it´s possibly to pay less. Further, Brazilian people pay a lot of taxes but this money still isn’t distributed correctly on important sectors like education or healthy. Our big cities have problems with violence and traffic but every big city has problems like that. There aren’t natural disasters in our country like hurricanes but sometimes we have floods.

    Finally, I think Brazil has potential to be a wonderful country. For the future, is possible there are more vantages than advantages for living in Brazil. However the Brazilian, mainly governments, need to help our country became better than today.
